It’s Healthy Aging Month! At North Star Family Medicine we see patients of every age and are here to help guide you to a healthier lifestyle weather you are 7 or 70! This month is a time to recognize the positive aspects of aging and encourage people to take responsiblilty for their health. Some ways to observe healthy aging month include:
- Get an annual physical and other health screenings to ensure your health is on the right track.
- Staying active by going for walks, yoga, or stretching.
- Staying social by attending classed, joining a club and visiting with family and friends on a regular basis.
- Keep your mind active by reading or doing puzzles.
- Taking vitamins and supplements and eating healthy.
- Don’t act your age!
