We live here, we love it here. The primary benefit of a private medical practice is that you get a higher level of care at a lower cost. We can be far more flexible than corporate medicine, and we don’t have to sacrifice care to edicts of any committee.

Last week, athenahealth received the below linked “Notice to Impacted Customers” (“Notice”) from a business associate (Medlytix, Inc.) that had received it from Change Healthcare. The Notice identified Medlytix as a customer whose data was involved in the Change Healthcare security incident initially discovered on February 21, 2024.
The Notice does not explicitly identify impacted patients, so we are sharing its contents with our covered entity clients whose data was processed by Medlytix within the security incident window for completeness and out of an abundance of caution.
