I am biased and I am proud to say the Nursing Staff at North Star Family Medicine is the best in not only the Brainerd Lakes Area, but the State of Minnesota, the United States of America and the World!
Our nurses run our clinic. From taking patient phone calls, to obtaining vital signs and placing patients in rooms, to assisting with procedures, drawing blood, obtaining x-ray images, starting IV’s, keeping our clinic clean, managing supplies, feeding us breakfast, organizing potlucks, returning patient phone calls and keeping me in line, they are to quote an 80’s term “The BOMB”. Not only do they know our patients by name, but they also probably know why they are calling when they see their name on the caller id! None of them even complain about completing Prior Authorizations for medications and procedures! (Ok – Maybe a little! – but who doesn’t?)
Their compassion for patient care is in a class of its own. They exhibit phenomenal teamwork daily and complete their jobs efficiently and effectively. Personally, I’d be lost without them keeping me on schedule and supporting our patients’ needs. I personally value how they have each other’s back and adjust schedules to meet our clinic needs.
I sincerely acknowledge and appreciate Sam, Madi, Georgi and Brandon for their hard work and dedication to North Star Family Medicine.
